After 4 successful years of running the L'Oréal e-Strat Challenge with worldwide university and business school students, L'Oréal launched the e-Strat Academic Challenge in 2004, providing professors with a flexible pedagogical support to design effective and interactive courses, using the L'Oréal e-Strat Challenge Business Game.
Last year, over 400 teams competed in the L'Oréal e-Strat Academic Challenge, in France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Spain, Greece, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Turkey, Uk and Venezuela.
Feedback from both students and professors has been extremely positive, and L'Oréal will pursue its investment in developing the business skills of the leaders of tomorrow by offering this opportunity to even more students and professors in this 8th edition .
In April 2006, the pedagogical value of the L'Oréal e-Strat Challenge has been officially recognised by the EFMD (European Foundation Management Development) who has awarded the competition with the CEL(Technology - Enhanced Learning Program) accreditation.
This accreditation proves that the L'Oréal e-Strat Challenge is a program bridging the educational and professional world and providing an innovative and rich learning experience to students who participate in the program.
In July 2007, the L'Oréal e-Strat Challenge has also developed a Sustaining Partnership with the AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) in order to promote a common pedagogical approach.
The mission of the AACSB International is advance quality management education worldwide through education and thought leadership.

"The feedback from our students has been great.
They learned a lot from the practical experience and the direct contact with the company; and when I talked to students who did the game two years ago, they say "this is real life" ! "
